Actually, the air conditioning ensures pleasantly cold, but two snakes felt very comfortable in it – and how. It was getting hot in the refrigerator.
A family in the Australian state of Queensland discovered two mating snakes in their air conditioning system.
After some maneuvering, the hastily called snake catcher Stu McKenzie from the company “Sunshine Coast Snakecatchers 24/7” succeeded in catching at least one of the two brown night tree snakes and stowing it in a special sack. The other had disappeared through a hole behind the wall, reported the portal “WAtoday” on Tuesday.
Snakes keep getting into air conditioners
“We’ve been to this family’s house before because they had a brown night snake in their air conditioner,” McKenzie wrote on Facebook. So that this does not happen again, the hole in the wall is now filled with foam. “It happens now and then that snakes get into air conditioners, and it can be very difficult to get them out of there,” said the expert.
Brown night tree snakes (Boiga irregularis) grow to about two meters long and usually live in warm, humid regions such as tropical Queensland and rainforests. However, they also penetrate into urban regions. The species is poisonous, but its bite is not fatal. (SDA)
