Last month, Atlus surprised us by announcing Soul Hackers 2a new role-playing game that is a spiritual successor to Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner – Soul Hackers and which will also mark the 25th anniversary of the latter. With a worldwide release on most platforms, a very catchy visual style and colorful characters, starting with its heroine ringo, there was something to be excited about. If you are waiting for this title, good news, a second trailer was released earlier this weekimmediately introducing three additional characters described later in this article (one of which is killed without pressure), in not hesitating to explicitly show graphic violence and blood from the first moments. Note that English subtitles can be activated.
And blood, there is even more later, since we are entitled to the lifeless body of Miladybefore ringo resuscitates her, or she gets shot in the leg by this mysterious man in the iron mask. From what we can understand, the Phantom Society seeks to seize Covenants (no relation to Halo), which could trigger the end of the world. A demon and artificial being known as Zoma. Created by Iron Mask, Zenon acts on his orders. Although he has excellent combat abilities, he is not particularly intelligent. He kills Onda under the command of Iron Mask and takes the Red Covenant.
Ichiro Onda (Kentaro Itō)
- Organization: Telecommunications Research Systems – New District 24 Telecommunications R&D Advancement Center
- Height: 178cm
- Fears: his own intelligence, cats
A world-renowned computer scientist. He has achieved various major feats and has the intelligence to be called upon when it comes to government initiated projects. He is the holder of the Red Covenant. He has completed his research on the Vanishing System, but is killed by Iron Mask and Zenon.
