The “Star Trek” universe will also be represented again at Comic-Con 2023. For fans present, the crossover between “Star Trek: Lower Decks” and “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” could already be seen exclusively. On July 29, 2023 we can then enjoy the special episode ourselves, before there were pictures and a trailer. While SNW is currently ongoing, Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 4 will launch later this summer.
After all, not only was the crossover shown at the SDCC, a first trailer for “Lower Decks” Season 4 was also shown, which has it all. Humour, Easter Eggs and all sorts of colorful space adventures! In addition, of course, a start date was announced.

Boimler, Mariner and Co. are back and have to survive exciting space adventures in the lower levels of the USS Ceritos. In the well-known “Lower Decks” manner, there are again many grotesque jokes, but also humorous and affectionate allusions to the other “Star Trek” series.
“Star Trek: Lower Decks” Season 4: Release on Paramount + or Amazon Prime Video?
In Germany, the first three “Star Trek: Lower Decks” seasons were released on Amazon Prime Video. Since the release of Paramount + in Germany, the question has been whether the new episodes will still come to Prime Video.
It will probably be similar to “Star Trek: Picard” season 3, so that the new episodes will be released in parallel on Prime Video and Paramount +, always on Fridays.
A release date was announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2023. On September 7th, 2023 “Star Trek: Lower Decks” season 4 starts in the USA. In Germany, the respective episodes will probably appear one day later.
In the meantime, you can look forward to new episodes of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2 every week. There are also all sorts of other “Star Trek” new releases that await us in the Paramount+ New Releases program!
