The cult series “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” celebrates its 30th anniversary. The popular sci-fi series ran from 1993 to 1999 for a total of 7 seasons. The characters like Ben Sisko, Odo, Dr. Since then, Bashir and Elim Garak have been among the fan favorites of the “Star Trek” brand!
To celebrate the 30th anniversary, Bashir star Alexander Siddig and Garak actor Andrew Robinson have now teamed up to reprise their roles. They read dialogue from their “Star Trek” characters from the novel “A Stitch in Time,” which Robinson wrote himself.
Both return to their characters seemingly effortlessly, giving “Star Trek” fans a nice little nostalgia performance. “Deep Space Nine” fans who haven’t read the novel can also easily follow the dialogue.
The return of Alexander Siddig as Dr. Bashir doesn’t seem to be the last. The Star Trek star is rumored to be returning in Lower Decks and possibly starring in Michelle Yeoh’s Star Trek: Section 31. We will see!
