Steam improves: New function saves players a few clicks

Valve is also busy working on the user interface of their gaming platform in preparation for the release of the Steam Deck – to the delight of PC gamers. Because in the future they will find a new function that has been desired for a long time and was therefore long overdue.

What’s changing on Steam?

Previously, it was necessary for PC players on Steam to access the Install button click to find out how much memory each game will take up on your hard drive. Although used to it, it had always bothered many users. But that will change in the future.

There are a few changes in the Steam Beta Client patch notes that will polish the platform’s user interface. Including those handy download size feature. The display will take the place where it previously stood, how many hours you have already sunk into the game (source: Steam).

Since it is only a beta update so far, it will probably be some weeks will take until all users will find the new function in their game library.
