Ronan Keating’s wife Storm spent the past week in the hospital. She had to undergo emergency surgery on the spine.

Storm Keating, 39, the wife of singer Ronan Keating (44, “Twenty Twenty”), had to undergo emergency surgery last week. In her post on Friday (March 26th) on Instagram she called this time “the scariest week of my life”.

To the post, which shows her hand on a surgical shirt, the mother of two wrote: “On Saturday I was taken to the hospital because of an already known very serious herniated disc. This had meanwhile become so worse that I had to undergo an operation.” As she was recovering from the first operation, her condition suddenly worsened again. A so-called cauda equina syndrome had occurred, which had to be operated on immediately “to avoid permanent damage”. The cauda equina syndrome is caused by a massive contusion in the area of ​​the lower spine.

In her post, Storm Keating thanked the team of doctors and nurses who stood by her side over the past week, because without them she “would not leave this clinic with the prospect of a normal life as I always imagined it would be” would go out. She was released for her younger daughter’s first birthday, she continued, and was happy to see her family. In conclusion, she admonished her followers to always take care of their own health and not to take it for granted.

Producer, fashion designer and singer Ronan Keating married on August 17, 2015. In April 2017, they became parents of a son. Their daughter followed in March 2020.
