Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, new details and visuals on classes, locations and enemies

Tonight, Square-Enix released a new and final trailer of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, filled with new game scenes and introducing some bosses that we will fight. The publisher also shared a series of visuals that you can discover on the following page and gave more details on what we were able to observe, as he already did at the end of last year with in particular Sophie and Tiamat. Thus, the famous black stone offered to Sarah through Jack is a black crystal serving to counter the effects of the mist born from the darkness of chaos by absorbing it, protecting its wielders. A forge will allow us to improve our equipment using materials obtained in missions, offering replayability to them, or by dismantling what is not useful to us, all in order to give them effects. Three additional classes were also introduced, the Red Mage, the Berserker and the Samurai, as well as two places, the sunken palace and the Terra Cavern.

You can find all the details below:

The kingdom of Cornelia is eaten away by darkness. To destroy Chaos, the origin of this darkness, Jack goes on an adventure with Jed and Ash, who have given themselves the same mission. As our adventurers, driven by a burning desire to defeat Chaos, repel hordes of monsters, the inhabitants begin to hope that they are the saviors announced by the prophecy. No one, however, could imagine the truth that awaits them…

When the brilliance of the crystals is restored, will the world know peace, or will it be plunged into a new form of darkness? The result may be completely different…

Classes

Red mages are versatile: able to cast both black and white magic spells, they can attack as well as support the group. Use the Red Mage’s special ability, Chain Spells, to inflict massive damage on your enemies while reducing their elemental resistance.

A class specializing in direct attacks inflicted with axes and heavy swords, the berserker can use the skill Fury. When under the effect of it, your attack power increases considerably, but you cannot use a potion, which is not without risk.

Samurai are masters of MP recovery. When you are under the effect of the special technique Meikyôshisui, you will recover more MP by performing normal attacks, and achieving a perfect guard will also allow you to regain MP. Use your recovered MP to land a rain of blows.

Premises

Could this strange light be the life force of the planet, extracted by this installation? This highly secure building built at the bottom of the ocean is entirely controlled by machines, and it overflows with water elemental energy.

A cavern heavy with earth elemental energy. Those who would like to enter it will have to thwart all sorts of traps. It looks like a huge tomb strewn with corpses. What object could be lying deep in the cave, far below the surface?

Undoubtedly, a final point will be made next month, since Marilith has not yet had the right to his presentation. Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is expected on March 18 PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (EGS), and can be pre-ordered on Amazon at the price of €66.90.
