5 accessories that we’d rather leave out right away

A golden style tip: less is more. And among the accessories there are quite a few candidates who do absolutely nothing for us …

Guido Maria Kretschmer taught us: There is no right or wrong in fashion – as long as you feel good. Now it’s just that we come across so many different style tips on the internet, blogs, and social media that sometimes we get a little bit lost for advice. And get lost. In particular, since a wealth of accessories flood the market with each new fashion season …

That’s why we want to concentrate on the reduction now. Because one day the everyday effect will also set in in fashion: Do we really still love this necklace? Or is it just a habit that keeps us going? Is this belt really still trendy – and if not, does it still do anything for my style? Now it’s time to question. In our wardrobes and jewelery boxes there are some old burdens, the time of which is not only over, but which simply doesn’t do anything for us any more. Be it because they are bulky, because they hide our special details or because they only distract from our actual beauty. Admittedly, this also includes a bit of separation pain – but at least we create space for new things!

Style tip: 5 accessories that don’t do anything for us

Choker

They had a short comeback and sure, in some styles they are definitely indispensable – in the Goth or alternative area, for example, with rivets or velvet elements. But when we think of pearls and the tattoo motifs of the past, they are welcome to travel back in time. The chokers shorten the neck, look unfavorable when they are a little too tight and, above all, are incredibly uncomfortable for many people anyway. We don’t have to torment ourselves any longer.

Fringed belt

When we’re not in the wild west, we can confidently say goodbye to fringed belts. Both around the waist and around the hips, the fringes – especially if they are made of suede or suede – appear bulky quickly. And disguise the natural, beautiful curves!

Earrings or shoulder brushes?

Statement necklaces and earrings can do a lot for an outfit, no question about it. If they get too big, however, and earrings, for example, almost rest on the shoulders, they quickly have a negative effect, especially on small, petite people: They appear laden, the face and neck are reduced in size.

Arm bands

The upper arms are not exactly one of the favorite parts of the body for many people. But it doesn’t have to hide: r, after all, they have been carrying things around for our lives and they house our muscles, which provide us with strength. You can wave nicely. What you don’t need are upper arm bracelets. They narrow even the slimmest arms quickly in order to hold and well, nobody really feels comfortable there anymore.

Chain chaos

The layer look has long since arrived in the accessories sector. And the chains falling on top of each other look really nice – especially with a deep V-neckline. In everyday life, however, they are rather unsuitable: Anyone who wears several necklaces for a longer period of time is inevitable in chaos. Fine chains in particular get caught up quickly, slowly unravel and stress us over the long term. Then it is better to rely on individual, beautiful pieces – which we are not occupied with all day.
