Superman
Reboot announced
Fans of "Superman" can be happy: Warner and DC have announced a reboot. J.J. Abrams is on board as a producer.
A bang in the DC universe: "Superman" is to get a new edition. This was reported by "Deadline" and "The Hollywood Reporter" after the website "Shadow And Act" reported about it. Accordingly, author Ta-Nehisi Coates should write the script and J.J. Abrams (54, "Star Wars – The Force Awakens") will act as producer. For Coates it will be the first script for a movie. "There is a new, powerful and moving Superman story to tell. We couldn't be happier to work with the brilliant Mr. Coates and bring this story to the screen with him," said J.J. Abrams in a statement for "Shadow And Act".
Nothing is known yet about the action of the reboot. The search for a "Superman" actor has also not yet begun. So it remains to be seen whether Henry Cavill (37) will return in the role at all. In "Zack Snyder's Justice League" he can be seen in the role in any case. The four-hour work premieres on March 18 at HBO Max.
