According to an investigation conducted by “Le Monde” and its partners in the “Forbidden Stories” consortium, Rachid M’Barki reportedly broadcast information provided by an Israeli disinformation agency on BFMTV. The journalist was suspended on January 11, 2023 by the channel’s director, Marc-Olivier Fogiel.

The BFMTV presenter is accused of having broadcast content on the air serving the interests of foreign powers. In the viewfinder: subjects related to Morocco, Sudan or even Russian oligarchs.
We just learned this Wednesday, February 15 that an Israeli pharmacy is the source of this disinformation. This is what emerges from a major survey carried out by Forbidden Stories.

An Israeli company posing as a public relations agency

Forbidden Stories East a consortium of 30 media and 100 journalists who have taken an interest in disinformation around the world. Among their many revelations, they shed light on the existence of this Israeli company which officially presents itself as a public relations agency.

Rachid M’Barki denies having received money to distribute this content

But secretly, it is she who is actually at the origin of the dissemination of these biased subjects on BFMTV. This on behalf of foreign customers. For his part, Rachid MBarki denies having received money to distribute this content.
