Taylor Swift: She helps math student with a 25,000 euro donation

Taylor Swift gave a prospective math student in England 25,000 euros without further ado so that she can make "her dream" come true.

Once again singer Taylor Swift (30, "Lover") has shown her big heart in the form of a generous donation. This can be seen impressively in a "Go Fund Me" campaign launched by a young woman named Vitoria Mario. The description of her appeal reads: "I am a young, 18-year-old black woman with a dream." She really wants to study mathematics at the University of Warwick (England). Her grades allowed this, but not the financial resources of her widowed mother from Portugal.

According to the fundraising campaign, she needs 40,000 British pounds (around 45,000 euros) to make this dream come true – and that's where Taylor Swift comes in. Among the listed donations of ten pounds here and 20 pounds there, there is also one over 23,373 pounds since yesterday – just under 25,000 euros. This comes from the US singer and catapulted the donations over the required amount in one fell swoop.

Swift also left a comment on this: "Victoria, I heard your story online by chance and your drive and passion to make your dreams come true inspires me. I want to give you the rest of your target amount. Good luck with all that you are doing." Donations nevertheless continue to spiral towards the overjoyed future math student. In the meantime, Vitoria Mario can look forward to more than 2,000 pounds extra.
