For the environmentalist candidate, “the goal is to reach the OECD average salary”, specifies François Thiollet, co-delegate to his project, i.e. between 37,900 and 47,900 euros per year depending on the level of education. “Those who will rather benefit from this increase are the beginnings and mid-careers”, he specifies, also announcing a catch-up of the index point of all civil servants. Jadot also wishes to work on “working time, all tasks included”, a controversial subject aimed at taking into account the hours in class but also those, hidden, of consultation, of links with families to achieve “to a target of real 35 hours”.

The communist likes to define himself as the candidate of purchasing power, and that of the teachers is not forgotten. “For salaries, we propose for teachers like all civil servants the unfreezing of the index point and a catch-up, that amounts to an increase, for teachers, which has been calculated at 30%”, says its education manager, Marine Roussillon. All without increasing working hours. If this measure is not quantified, the team advances a 45% increase in the education budget to reach 80 billion.
Jean-Luc Melenchon
The rebellious hear “to catch up with the consequences of fifteen years of wage austerity policy” in two times. Marine Le Pen
Without giving figures pending the unveiling of the school program this Thursday, Gilles Pennelle, in charge of education for Marine Le Pen, promises “consequent upgrading of teachers, particularly at the start of their careers”. Sweeping away a bonus system that does not meet the “requests”, the far-right team is considering a revaluation of the index point and an increase in the level. “Perhaps the teachers should start in 3rd or 4th”, notes Gilles Pennelle. shouting at “pedagogical excesses” citing pell-mell interdisciplinarity, the vision of “the student actor of his training” or even the “meeting”, the RN pleads for “reduce the amount of work required of teachers outside of class”.
Eric Zemmour
Far from having made it a priority in his speeches, Eric Zemmour devotes barely more than two lines to the revaluation of teachers in his program. He plans to “recruit and train teachers in a more demanding way, increase bonuses and accelerate career progression based on merit”.
