We live in times of massive upheaval. Pandemic, war, climate change and sustainability. Due to the advancing digitization and networking, our professional world and the way in which we do business are also changing. What does this mean for people and companies? The digital playing field with its exponentially growing technological possibilities and changes drives human progress as long as they understand, accept and participate in this change.

Without the employees on board, the most beautiful strategies fail during implementation. That directs our attention to the employees. Nowadays, most areas of a company need employees who are digitally fit. The main problem here is not the technology, but that many people are simply afraid of change. (e.g. automation, digitization, etc.) This has a lot to do with the minimum of the employees, by which I mean their learned attitudes, attitudes and ways of thinking.

Humans are the constructors of their own reality. The subjective mindset determines how each of us deals with changes, new challenges or problems. In this context, we know the so-called “growth mindset” that drives us dynamically and the “fixed mindset” that slows us down and blocks us.

In this short lecture we will discuss how each of us can change our subjective mindset so that we remain open to new things not only in our professional environment but also in our private lives.
