Teleworking from abroad is now a luxury and ultimately a risk of job relocation

As soon as it becomes possible to work without setting foot in the company, why should management not hire directly by teleworking abroad, especially in countries where the cost of labor is high? weaker ? The risk of a new wave of relocations is there.

In the turn of white collar workers

After hitting low-skilled jobs first, then call centers and the IT sector, offshoring could affect more white-collar workers. But today, many companies are in a hurry and seek above all to reestablish a link with their employees, with hybrid work.

Trades such as those of accountant, engineer, web developer, data scientist, designer, payroll manager, those of support functions, etc. could leave Europe for emerging countries. Among the most exposed sectors: banking and insurance, of which 92% of jobs are teleworkable in France, information and communication (79%) and consulting (67%).
