In just two titles (Battle Chasers: Nightwar and Ruined King: A League of Legends Storypublished last year), Airship Syndicate managed to create a community thanks to its tasty artistic directions and well-oiled tactical role-playing game mechanics. He unveiled his next title at Game Awards 2022inevitably arousing the interest of the spectators, a certain Wayfinder.
This time it is a RPG action-oriented, and especially multiplayer, because it will be exclusively playable online. We will play a Wayfindertasked with pushing back the chaos of the world ofEvenor with her Gloom Daggera powerful artifact that will push us to choose the areas we want to explore, the monsters we want to hunt down and the things we want to harvest.
WHAT IS WAYFINDER?
The world of Evenor has been shattered. To control the chaos that has gripped your world, you must become a Wayfinder. Join forces with your friends online to grow your powers and control your endless, action-packed adventures through advanced customization modifiers as you explore the immersive world, collect resources, and craft your gear .
PLAY AS A WAYFINDER
Control and channel the power of a mighty Wayfinder! Call upon a range of unique and varied abilities ranging from arcane magic to deadly melee combat and mystical technology. Navigate the immersive pond alongside other Wayfinders and shape your adventures to your own desires. Choose the places you explore and the enemies you face to better customize the way you want to play, while discovering the secrets – good and bad – of each character you play within the captivating storyline woven throughout the game. CONTROL THE CHAOS
As a Wayfinder, you possess an artifact called the Gloom Dagger. The Dagger of the Gloom allows you to move through the world plagued by the Gloom and embark on your exciting adventures. Customize each of your play sessions with the Dagger and control which beasts you hunt, which enemies you face and which materials you want to harvest.
EXPLORE AND HARVEST YOUR WAY
There are no limits to exploration in Wayfinder! You will face different challenges along the way and you will find plenty of things to collect! By tracking beasts on expeditions, venturing through dungeons, and fighting enemies and bosses, you’ll get valuable materials and resources to craft weapons, upgrades, other items for Wayfinders and for apartments (yes, there will be apartments)! Your hard work will also earn you Mastery, which will make all of your Wayfinders more powerful.
STRONGER TOGETHER
Although a solitary Wayfinder is capable of traversing the dangerous lands of Evenor alone, Wayfinders are stronger in groups than isolated! Some elements of Wayfinder can be played solo, but some important quests and encounters will require teaming up with other Wayfinders.
Wayfinder will be launched in free-to-play end of 2023 on PS5, PS4 and PC, but test phases will take place from December 13, 2022, first on personal computer and then on consoles. It will be edited by Digital Extremes.
