The Batman Arkham trilogy is coming to Switch this fall

Batman Arkham Asylum changed the game in terms of adapting superheroic license in video games. Admittedly, there had been a few exceptions (X-Men on MegaDrive mon Amour) but let’s be honest: it was mostly pure Super-Heroes-Sploitation. Then finally, in the year 2009 came the epiphany: Rocksteady launched on the market Arkham Asylum. Free adaptation of the comic book Arkham Asylum by Grant Morrison and Dave McKean (a marvel), the title of the British studio instantly entered the marble shelves of the video game pantheon. Rich, beautiful, dense, with a gothic atmosphere as possible and a high-flying scenario, the Dark Knight had never been so well magnified. Was he as much afterwards? We cannot say. Followed by two excellent sequels: batman arkham city And batman arkhamknight (too bad for you Batman Arkham Origins), the Arkham saga remains etched in the hearts of all those who have put down the controls.

Here comes the Rotten Bald again

And even if there are already compilations on the PS360 generations, and PS4 / Xbox One, the Nintendo Switch had not had the honors of receiving a visit in good and due form from the Dark Knight. An affront that will be repaired in the fall of 2023, thanks to the work of the Turn Me Up Games studio (specialist in porting games for Switch, with the Borderlands Legendary Collection and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 remaster). It will therefore be the three games of the trilogy that will land, with all the DLC and additional content. Enough to guarantee a total annihilation of all social life for a few weeks. We still wonder about the Nintendo Switch’s ability to run a technical brute like batman arkhamknight… For now, no official release date is set, and the price of this compilation is not yet known.
