The DioField Chronicle: a big content update with a new scenario and difficulty modes announced on video

Despite a somewhat indifferent release last September, The DioField Chronicle will continue to be supported by Square-Enix at least for the time of an update. the Tactical RPG who wants to be heir to Final Fantasy Tactics will indeed be entitled to lots of free new features thanks to a patch scheduled for March 2023 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

He will first add a new side scenario, playable after the Chapter 5putting us in the boots of Waltaquin Redditch in a series of missions leading us to a fight against Behemoth. She will wield an unprecedented weapon, a grimoire, which can summon a Skeleton Knight by fate Necromancy and turn your units into Skeleton Dragon thanks to the incantation Necrotame.

For the more adventurous, two additional difficulty modes will be offered. On the one hand, Very difficult, providing more complex battles with fewer shard drops, increased enemy skill usage frequency, reduced skill cooldowns, extended wake-up time and limited health recovery, and more. The other, Extra Modeselectable only in New Game+, where high level enemies will appear from the start of the adventure, while we will have kept our levels, weapons and skills.
