The dream ship: Nick Wilder announces his farewell

Nick Wilder (67) has been playing Dr. Wolf Sander on the ZDF program "Das Traumschiff". Now it is time for him to go ashore once and for all. "I was allowed to be your 'Doc Sander' in the 'dream ship' for ten wonderful years. But you should always find the right moment when it's time for something new," writes Wilder on Facebook.

"Hello, Emperor! Life is wilder than you think"

The actor thanks the fans for the support. He is looking forward to "everything that comes with you!" According to a report by "Oddsmeter.de", this year's Christmas episode will be Wilder's last appearance. It is not the first farewell in recent years. "Dream ship" veteran Heide Keller (78) had left the row in early 2018. In the same year the last episode with captain Sascha Hehn (65) ran. Florian Silbereisen (38) has been the new captain since Christmas 2019. On Easter Sunday (April 12th, 8:15 pm, ZDF) he, Wilder and the crew will go to Morocco.

What will wild animals have in the near future? In November 2020 he would like to publish his memoirs under the title "Hello, Mr. Kaiser! Life is wilder than you think", as the article also reveals. The autobiography can already be pre-ordered.
