Once again, Joko and Klaas have found well-known stars who hold out their bones for them in "The Duel Around the World".
For over eight years, Joko Winterscheidt (41) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (37) have been fighting each other in their TV format "The Duel Around the World". Since 2018 they have been sending four celebrities around the globe with the title addition "Team Joko versus Team Klaas" per episode, to hold their heads for them in disgusting, painful or downright suicidal tasks. Somehow, Joko and Klaas managed to win over well-known stars for this TV ordeal for the upcoming 8th season, who will wear themselves out in the new episodes from November 28th (8:15 pm, ProSieben).
The now announced team members include pop star Vanessa Mai (28), model Stefanie Giesinger (24) and presenter Janin Ullmann (39). Of the lords of creation, "Gladiator" actor Ralf Moeller (61), comedian Luke Mockridge (31), ex-gymnast Fabian Hambüchen (33), actor Axel Stein (38), singer Wincent Weiss (27) and the moderators dare Jan Köppen (37) and Micky Beisenherz (43) in the ring. Ex-kicker Thorsten Legat (52) will also provide a lot of Kasalla.
No corona trips
For the already wacky challenges, I went to Greece, Russia, Norway and the Czech Republic. Joko is under pressure after the last season, which was broadcast from August to November 2019. All three episodes of the seventh season of "The Duel around the World – Team Joko versus Team Klaas" were won by Klaas, who then modestly became triple world champion.
