After Joko Winterscheidt (41) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (37) last fought as a team against their employer ProSieben in a show, they are now competing against each other again: "The duel around the world – Team Joko against Team Klaas" is already over November back, as the broadcaster announced on Sunday (November 1st).
The teams duel in two episodes, including in Greece, Italy, the Czech Republic, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Poland, as well as Liechtenstein and Russia. Whoever wins the duels is revealed in a live show in the studio. Whoever collects the most country points can grab the world championship title. Jeannine Michaelsen (38) will moderate the two shows, which will be broadcast on November 28, 2020 and December 5, 2020 (8:15 p.m. live on ProSieben and Joyn).
Most of the trips took place before Corona
According to ProSieben, the trips associated with the show were carried out before the pandemic or in summer 2020, when travel within Europe was possible again. "The duels were carried out under the travel, hygiene and safety regulations in force at the time of production," says the message. In addition, all shows of the Seven.One Entertainment Group will be produced without a studio audience from November 2, 2020 until further notice due to the stricter infection protection regulations.
