This is an announcement that leaves many Disney fans dubious. During a conference call for the release of quarterly results, chief executive Bob Chapek spoke about the future of the film Mulan which, on several occasions, has had its theatrical release date shifted. Finally, it would seem that Mulan will be released directly on Disney + without going through theaters. In any case, this will be the case for many countries that have access to Disney +. Regarding countries that do not have the streaming platform, the film will be available in cinemas if they are reopened. If the crisis forces Disney to react in this way to ensure the visibility of this highly anticipated new film, many remained perplexed by this announcement. Indeed, if the film will be available on Disney +, you will have to pay $ 29.99 to see it. In any case, this will be the case for Canada, Australia, New Zealand and parts of Western Europe.

Many were offended to have to pay more than a cinema ticket, knowing that there is also the price of the subscription at 6.99 euros. By the way, some time ago Alan Horn and Alan Bergman said a completely different discourse, wishing that Mulan sort on the big screen: "Director Nikki Caro, the cast and crew have created a beautiful, epic and moving film that represents everything a movie theater experience should be. We believe it deserves to be seen on the big screen by viewers around the world, so that they can enjoy it together. " What is certain is that this decision is far from unanimous on social networks, although no details have been provided concerning the film's distribution in France:
