The phoenix only landed in 7th place, but its unmasking could have been the most emotional of the entire “Masked Singer” season.

With Thore Schölermann (37) as a prominent guest and the recovered Teddy, “The Masked Singer” once again invited to a lively circumstantial analysis on Saturday (November 6th). After Jens Riewa (58, Chili), Pierre Littbarski (61, Hammerhead Shark) and Peter Kraus (82, Skunk) were unmasked in the first three issues, the current episode took seventh place. And it went to Samuel Koch (34) in a very emotional revelation in the quarterfinals of the show.

The actor who appeared in “Wetten, dass ..?” seriously injured and has been sitting in a wheelchair since then, was stuck under the colorful phoenix costume. A suitable disguise, because like the phoenix from the ashes, Koch also fought his way back to life after his accident. Pure goosebumps, not only from the rate jury Ruth Moschner (45), Rea Garvey (48) and Schölermann.

On the day of the “Wetten, dass ..?” Anniversary

The coincidence was almost eerie: On the day when “Wetten, dass ..?” celebrated the 40th anniversary with a one-off special episode, Samuel Koch rose as a phoenix on “The Masked Singer”.
