Ten months before the Olympic and Paralympic Games (JOP) in Paris, is French sport going through a new zone of turbulence? The boss of the CNOSF, who speaks of“outrageous accusations”further expresses doubts in his letter – sent in copy in particular to the presidents of French sports federations, to the Prime Minister, Elisabeth Borne, and to the Minister of Sports and JOPs, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra –, on the calendar of the creation of this commission, a few months before the Games: “We are wondering about the objectives you are seeking, about the exact purposes of this mission. » “This is another hard blow that you are dealing to the French sporting model”, accuses the one who is also a member of the International Olympic Committee. In the letter, Mr. Lappartient says he is at the disposal of the commission – he will be interviewed at the beginning of October, like the presidents of federations, the minister of sports and other French sports officials.
“My commission is disturbing”is convinced Sabrina Sebaihi. “I know that the federations are very unhappy with our work. Mr. Lappartient’s letter is scandalous. Asked about the existence of this letter, the boss of the CNOSF ensures that he has “expressed on behalf of the entire sports movement”. “My colleagues and I have no disagreement on the objective sought [par la commission], but we are all outraged at the way things are happening. We feel that the objective is to cast shame on the entire sports movement, and that is unacceptable., he gets carried away.
