British singer Lily Allen has given up smoking. She celebrates her first smoke-free month with an Instagram post.

2020 seems to be a year of change for Lily Allen (35, “Sheezus”). After the British singer gave actor David Harbor (45, “Stranger Things”) the word in September, she apparently also decided to quit smoking. On her Instagram account, she is now celebrating the first successful month without smoking.

The “22” singer published ten photos of herself from the past few years, showing her smoking. The British woman wrote: “Here are ten photos of me smoking, which you will see less in the near future because I gave up smoking a month ago today!”

Numerous fans congratulate the singer on her successful abstinence. Many report of their own attempts to give up the vice and how difficult it is. For example, US drag queen Detox commented: “I quit too! In mid-March with a few slips here and there – but I mean: It’s a pretty stressful time to quit! Congratulations!”
