“The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” is the latest of the “The Walking Dead” spin-offs, but the plot does not take place directly after “The Walking Dead: Dead City”, although the series with Negan and Maggie was earlier has appeared. In fact, it takes place well before “Dead City.”

However, “The Walking Dead: Dead City”, the spin-off with Maggie and Negan, which was released in summer 2023, takes place well after the end of TWD and therefore also after “Daryl Dixon”. Negan mentions in the series that his war against Rick Grimes was about 12 to 15 years ago. In an interview with Ouch Magazine, Maggie actress Lauren Cohen also reveals that there is a time jump of around five to six years between “Dead City” and the finale of TWD.
