Here is that the two chapters of Waking Dead: Saints & Sinners are about to land on PSVR 2 at the end of the month (March 21, 2023). PCVR players are not left out, as they too will enjoy the second installment of the saga on the same day. To celebrate the event, THE Skydance Interactive studio shows the difference between the first chapter PlayStation VR 1 and its PSVR 2 version:
Skydance Interactive announces several elements in this comparative video:
- Improved lighting effects;
- Improved environments;
- Improved animations;
- Improved gameplay.
To note, not a word about haptic feedback which, in a game like this, could bring a huge plus. Hopefully this is just an oversight in the communication.
For players who have been able to try their hand at the title on PSVR first of the name and who would like to do it again on PlayStation VR 2, or for those who have already purchased it at a low price hoping that the update would be free as previous announcements suggested, the development of the studio is not the most pleasant. In effect, the basic version of the game does not entitle the patch to the PSVR version for free 2. Only owners of the Allist Edition will save the 9.99 euros that the update costs.
At the end of last year, thee studio had mentioned that the second part of the saga would also be worn on the first PlayStation VR, which would be good news for those who cannot afford the PlayStation VR 2. But for the moment, the title does not appear on the PlayStation Store. To be continued !
If you want to watch the whole saga, You THE bundle at €59.99which offers full versions of both chapters for less than the price of a single game.
THE PlayStation VR 2 is already available and you can expand your toy library via gift cards playstation available on Amazon.co.uk.
