Xiaomi is already preparing a successor to its 13 Ultra
Earlier this year, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra was officially announced by the Chinese manufacturer. If the promises suggested a high-end smartphone very centered on the photo, the device finally presented itself as a real bomb in the world of smartphones. Over-equipped for photography, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is nonetheless an excellent phone thanks to its high performance, generous battery life and colorful screen. It is therefore necessarily with a certain haste that we wanted to learn more about who will be his successor.

What improvements for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra?
Codenamed “aurora”, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to ditch the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC in favor of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 from Qualcomm. The improvements will result in particular in better performance and increased energy efficiency. On the side of the camera, few details have yet reached us for the moment. However, we know that the photo unit would still be designed in partnership with Leica and that the front camera of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra would be able to support 4K video recording.
Let’s conclude with good news: like its predecessor, the release of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra would indeed be planned internationally, including in Taiwan, Russia and Turkey (although this is more uncertain for the latter ). Its announcement should take place in the second quarter of next year, more precisely in the month of April 2024.
