In general, in perfumery for women, vanilla evokes gluttony and has a certain addictive, sensual dimension. Used in overdose in certain perfumes, we often associate vanilla flower with notes of fruit (coconut, passion, apricot …), musk, sugar, flowers.

Vanilla is finally surprising, and also serves as a "developer" in perfumery. "Thus, it is possible to use it as an overdose, or quite simply as a trace for a more subtle scent" explains our expert Émilie Coppermann. Satise enlightened in 1889 by Guerlain
Vanilla has indeed crossed the ages without going out of fashion. This fragrance adapts to the movements of trends in perfumery. Already in 1889, the Guerlain house imagined its first eau de parfum for women with sweet notes of vanilla. Bearing the name of Jicky, it highlights the synthetic scent of vanillin, and is still marketed today.
