A bonus for going on vacation? You think it is impossible, you are wrong. Companies can pay their employees a country leave bonus or holiday bonus, once a year. Please note that to benefit from it, this advantage must be included in your collective agreement.

What luck, your employer grants you a holiday bonus. This bonus, also called country leave bonus, is distributed according to the goodwill (and the collective agreement) of your company. Its amount varies, but can reach several hundred euros. Not provided for by the Labor Code, this bonus may be introduced through a collective agreement. If no agreement or convention is provided for, your employer has no obligation to pay it to you.

In the construction industry, according to The Expert-Comptable.comits value rises 30% of the compensation leave on the basis of 2 working days per month. The collective agreement for technical design offices provides for a bonus at least equal to 10% of the amount of pay for paid leave.

Being an employee of the company is not always enough, other criteria come into play: seniority, number of hours, leave for a certain period… All employees meeting the award criteria will then be able to receive it.
