The summer recipe and easy to make
The ingredients of the recipe for 6 people:
- 12 slightly firm apricots
- 12 white peaches
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- 4 sprigs of mint
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 tablespoons of honey
- ½ L almond milk or pistachio ice cream
The recipe steps:
- Halve the peaches and apricots and pit them.
- Then cut each half of fruit in half or 3 lengthwise, to obtain slices 3 to 5 mm thick.
- Arrange them vertically in a baking dish, alternating slices of peach and slices of apricot.
- Brush them with olive oil and honey, then bake for 10 minutes after having previously preheated your oven to 200°C.
- Take the dish out of the oven and place the sprig of rosemary on the fruit.
- Bake again for 10 minutes.
- Once out of the oven, sprinkle the tian with chopped mint leaves.
- Serve hot or warm, with pistachio or almond milk ice cream.
For a delicious apricot and peach tian
Be sure to use ripe apricots and peaches. Ripe fruit will also have a softer texture after cooking. For an even presentation, be sure to cut the apricots and peaches into similar-sized slices. This will allow the fruit to cook evenly and still look good when cooked.
If you want to add an extra splash of flavor, sprinkle in spices like a pinch of cinnamon or cardamom just before placing your tian in the oven. After baking, allow the apricot-peach tian to cool slightly before serving. Just before serving, arrange a few fresh mint leaves.
