TikTok is our first port of call for new makeup trends and challenges. This time the task sounds really crazy: the eye shadow is to be applied to the eye with the help of a handkerchief. So just do without the eyeshadow brush? We can hardly imagine that. After all, you have to be precise with eye make-up in order to create elaborate looks. Or?
Tissue eye make-up: it’s that easy
But it actually works! All you need is different eyeshadows in the colors of your choice – and a handkerchief. Strong, bright colors are best for this look. With the help of the handkerchief, some color is removed from the eyeshadow in the first step. Then the handkerchief is gently pressed onto the eyelid so that only a little eye shadow gets onto the eyelid. This technique is gradually applied with different bright colors side by side in a row, so that in the end a super creative rainbow look is created. And all without a brush! The result is both extraordinary and cool and would hardly be realizable with a brush.
Depending on your preference, a dramatic eyeliner can also be drawn or the look can be rounded off with a little mascara. The rest of the makeup should be kept simple as the eye makeup speaks for itself. Only a nude lipstick and some bronzer and blush complete the look.
