Trailer Tastes and colors: Rebecca Marder and Félix Moati in a musical romance

After Le Nom des gens and Télé Gaucho, director Michel Leclerc is reuniting with Félix Moati for a romantic and musical comedy, the release of which is scheduled for the Fête de la Musique. Check out the trailer.

After the surprise success of Le Nom des gens (more than 800,000 admissions in 2010), screenwriter and director Michel Leclerc continues to dig his furrow in comedy, always with fantasy, shift, tenderness, and commitment.

After La Lutte des classes with Edouard Baer and Leïla Bekhti, and a breakaway on the documentary side with Pingouin & Goëland, and their 500 little ones, Michel Leclerc, still in the company of his co-screenwriter Baya Kasmi, returns with Les Goûts et les couleurs, his 7th feature film.

There he finds Félix Moati (recently in the spotlight of Jour de lumière, a fiction shot live for Arte on the evening of the 2nd Tour) and welcomes Rebecca Marder into his world. The actress is in all the projects at the moment: she was the heroine of A young girl who is fine by Sandrine Kiberlain, and is expected in the skin of young Simone Veil in the film Simone by Olivier Dahan.

Tastes and Colors follows Marcia, a passionate young singer. She records an album with her idol Daredjane, a 1970s rock icon, who suddenly disappears. To release their album, she must convince Daredjane’s beneficiary, Anthony, a marketer in a small town, who has never liked his distant relative and even less his music. Between good and bad taste, popular and chic, sincerity and lies, their two worlds collide.

Around Rebecca Marder and Félix Moati, we find Judith Chemla (unrecognizable in the skin of Daredjane), Philippe Rebbot, Eye Haïdara, Artus, Baya Kasmi and François Morel for a small appearance.

Tastes and Colors will be released on June 22, 2022.
