(CercleFinance.com) – On the occasion of the publication of its quarterly results, Travelers indicates that its board of directors declared a 5% increase in its regular quarterly dividend, to $1.05 per share, a dividend which will be payable from June 28.
Over the first three months of the year, the insurance company earned core EPS of $4.69, up 14% year-on-year, and posted a core return on equity (ROE) of 15.4 %, an improvement of 0.9 points.
‘Core revenue growth, primarily driven by higher net investment income and higher underlying underwriting gain, more than offset increased catastrophe losses,’ Travelers said.
