two big patches that affect XP, farming is over!

Diablo 4 received two new patches quietly and took the opportunity to fix some big bugs. In the process, Blizzard put an end to infinite XP farming. We’ll still have to find something else, or start playing normally.

As it will soon close its first month of availability, Diablo 4 is currently undergoing numerous balancing and fixes. Very often, these are patches deployed in the background, without the players noticing it, but which still modify the game quite a bit. Among the recent patches, there are for example many rebalancings concerning certain skills and weapons. and above all, the correction of several glitches that can completely disrupt the experience. And this new double dose of patch adds a layer.

Diablo 4 (still) prevents infinite XP farming

Remember, a few days ago, several players were proud on social networks after discovering a glitch allowing them to farm XP, gold and infinite items. It was necessary for that to cause a bug during certain events in the cellars, secondary lairs of the game. But it is finished. As one might suspect, Blizzard’s ax has just fallen. Without warning, the developers have fixed the bug and it is no longer possible to take advantage of it. This is literally the third time Blizzard has rectified this kind of exploit. Before that, there was an issue with an elite monster and some dungeons.

Also, in addition to getting rid of XP bugs, Blizzard is fixing crashes on some weapons. The Druid class could, for example, loot and even use certain unique weapons normally intended for the Barbarian class. And to finalize all this, it is the weapon The Hammer of the Ancients which is currently monitored. Issues seem to be impacting its stats and although Blizzard has partially corrected the problem, the weapon in question is being closely monitored.

Season 1 is coming with a huge patch

They have been numerous since the release, but this kind of small corrections has the merit of being done without bothering us. On the other hand, when season 1 of Diablo 4 happens, expect a gigantic patch. If we don’t know much about this first seasonal launch yet, the developers have already warned that there are at least 13 patch notes pages.

We will have to expect many adjustments, much larger than usual and several nerfs, especially with regard to the Druid class. Either way, you’ll have to be prepared. For the rest, season 1 will bring with it new missions, seasonal content, an online ranking system and a very first battle pass. Finally, note that it has been confirmed that it would be necessary to redo a character to take advantage of the content of the season, as on Diablo 3.
