MO AND DAVID ARE PLACED IN CUSTODY

As he is late for work, Enric asks his wife to drop him off. Only, Mo can’t because she has an appointment with a student’s parent. In reality, Inès’ mother leaves to join Joël at the hotel. After sharing an intimate moment, Joël talks about his ecolodge project in Réunion. As he lacks 50,000 euros to finance it, the young man asks Mo if she knows of a potential investor. Uncomfortable, Mo says no, then leaves in a hurry.

For his part, the editor-in-chief of the Midi Libre would like to speak with Lucille to make a point with her. Unfortunately, she claims to have to leave. At the police station, Becker informs Lieutenant Cross that he has obtained authorization to place Lucille, Mo and David in custody.

At the same time, David goes to see a hypnotist doctor. During the session, the nurse recalls memories of this famous evening and is notably encouraged by Mo to join Joël for a paid meeting. At the end of his session, David calls Mo to tell him about his memories. At the same time, Mo is stopped by Yann and David by Thierry.

CLAIRE MAKES A DISTURBING DISCOVERY

At the hospital, Janet presents her condolences to Valérie Bouvet, Karine’s mother. Collapsed, the latter struggles to understand what could have happened to her daughter. Doctor Lewis then explains to her that she had an allergic reaction to the anesthetics. An unpredictable complication insofar as Karine had never undergone anesthesia in the past. Despite everything, Janet assures that she did everything to save her but specifies that the reaction was very brutal.

Touched by what she is going through, Claire accompanies Valérie and tries to support her. Unfortunately, the latter makes fun of his good feelings and reproaches him for having let his daughter die. Later, she meets Claudine at her office. Certain that Karine was the victim of a medical error, the mother of the family wants Claudine to take legal action, which she accepts.

A few steps away, the director of the hospital warns Janet that Madame Bouvet is filing a complaint against them.

At the end of the day, Hélène asks Claire to put a schedule on Doctor Lewis’ desk. The nurse then sees Karine Bouvet’s medical file open and discovers with astonishment a prescription signed by Janet in which she prescribes amoxicillin.
