A doctor annoyed by the “lies” of the opposition. In the show Europe Morning Monday, Senator Claude Malhuret, president of the Independents group, came to defend the measure of the vaccination pass wanted by the government and adopted at first reading by the National Assembly last week. For the senator, also a doctor-epidemiologist, part of the political opposition “has been trying for a year to scare the French”. In his viewfinder, personalities like Florian Philippot, François Asselineau, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, Marine Le Pen or even Jean-Luc Mélenchon. “The German-political disinformation pact,” he added to Sonia Mabrouk’s microphone.

A public debate that suffers

Claude Malhuret to add that “systematically”, these opponents of the presidential majority are in “error, falsehood and lies”. The doctor deplored the role that these political figures play in the public debate. He recalled that some “were first for chloroquine, and they succeeded in making a drug which was useless and which was toxic by the way, a planetary affair”. “They were against the vaccine, they were against the health pass, today against the vaccine pass … They are against everything and specialize in error. They unfortunately manage to convince all the people who find themselves in the resuscitation services, “regretted the president of the Independents group.

The doctor-epidemiologist added that “when he speaks with (his) colleagues, some are overwhelmed, others mad with rage”, stressing that the unvaccinated patients who end up in intensive care are the cause of deprogramming in the hospital . On the entry into force of the vaccine pass, Claude Malhuret recognized a “complex” debate: “It is not in black or white, but each time there is this debate in black or white, they are side of the error “, he estimated on Europe 1.

“Freedom is not irresponsibility”

Responding to the fact that the measure of the vaccination pass constrains political freedoms, the Senator from Allier mentioned that this debate is “of the same level that a student of the philo baccalaureate can solve”. “Freedom is not irresponsibility”, he continued, “it is not the possibility of embolizing the services of the reactor so that those who must be treated can no longer be treated” . For the senator, “the freedom of some stops where that of others begins. It is not that of being able to endanger others”, he insisted, pointing to the “selfishness” of these political figures opposition. “The argument on freedoms is so poor,” said the doctor again.

The Senator from Allier to admit that he is, this Monday morning, “angry”. “How do you want caregivers not to be angry? They treat people they know they should never have been there,” he said, referring to the story of the Bogdanoff brothers. And the doctor sounded the alarm: “We’re starting to have a discussion about the Hippocratic Oath. We have to treat everyone, but treat people who might not have been there, who could protect themselves very well. , it’s a waste of opportunity, ”he finally regretted.
