A little over a year ago now, at the beginning of February 2021, Iron Gate and Coffee Stain Publishing were throwing Valheim, a game of exploration and survival. The title quickly seduced players, recording more than a million sales in one week, to reach 8 million copies sold last August.
Since then, the enthusiasm around the game has calmed down a bit, but the title continues to attract new playersin particular thanks to regular updates, the game being still in Early Access. Today the developers announce that Valheim has sold more than 10 million copies. The studio thanks all the players and explains that it would never have expected such success at the launch of the title last year.
