Russia’s weakness is “obvious”, judges the Ukrainian president
The uprising of the Wagner Group illustrates the weakness of Russia, a country plunged into “evil and chaos”Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky judged on Saturday, taunting the Russian president and considering that Ukraine protects the rest of Europe.
In his first reaction to events in Russia, Mr. Zelensky noted that whoever “chooses the path of evil self-destructs”referring to Vladimir Putin, who, according to him, “sends hundreds of thousands of people to war to finally barricade themselves in the Moscow region to protect themselves from those whom they themselves have armed”.
“Russia’s weakness is obvious. Total weakness”he said in a message on social networks, “It is equally obvious that Ukraine is capable of protecting Europe against contamination by evil and Russian chaos. (…) Russia used propaganda to mask its weakness and the stupidity of its government. And now the chaos is such that no one can lie about it.”he further noted.
Its head of diplomacy, Dmytro Kuleba, has urged the West to supply more arms to Ukraine so that its army can “put an end to evil” Russian: “Those who said Russia was too strong to lose: look now. It’s time to let go of false neutrality and fear of escalation. Give Ukraine all the necessary weapons; forget friendship or business with Russia. It’s time to put an end to the evil that everyone despised but was too afraid to put down. »
For the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, the Wagner uprising means that “the empire is collapsing”. “Putin’s tyranny is on the right track”added the ministry on Telegram, before mocking the Russian soldiers by calling on them not to fight Ukraine but to choose their side between Wagner and the Russian army.
“The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine wonders why Russian soldiers are still in the trenches, rather than coming to the aid of their comrades, whether on one side of the conflict or the other. It would be safer for them than to face the Ukrainian army”he quipped on Twitter.
“Pushkin once wrote: ‘God forbid to see a senseless and ruthless Russian revolt.’ I hope that is exactly what we are going to see.”added Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk on Telegram.
