Forza Motorsport, the new opus of Turn10’s automotive simulation, is due to land exclusively on Xbox Series X/S and PC from October 10, 2023. As the release approaches, the studio has just shared a long gameplay video. The opportunity to discover the first hour of the adventure, and to see the improvements made in this episode, starting with the new weather system.
If you’re craving a car simulation, you may be eagerly awaiting the release of Forza Motorsport. The next opus of the Turn10 license is due to land exclusively on Xbox Series X/S and PC from October 10, 2023.
Only a few weeks before the release, the studio teams have just published 18 minutes of gameplay. The opportunity for players to discover the first moments of the game, as well as certain new features introduced in this opus.
As you can see in this excerpt, the first races of the game invite you to take part in a free practice lap in Maple Valley behind the wheel of a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray, the very first hybrid Corvette in history equipped with a 6.2L V8 combustion engine and a 160 hp electric motor (for a total of 655 hp). Then, the player will also have to prove themselves during the last two laps of an endurance race in Hakone, at the controls of a sublime Cadillac Racing V-Series R.2023.

A promising new Career mode
After this tutorial phase, players will be able to launch any game mode, whether it is the new Builders Cup Career mode, Multiplayer, Free or Rivals mode. However, according to the studio, the Builders Cup Intro Series remains the best entry point for beginners and to prepare for competition.
Like Pokémon, we can choose between three starting cars:
- the 2019 Subaru STI S209
- the 2018 Honda Civic Type R
- the 2018 Ford Mustang GT
This new Career mode will allow you to: familiarize yourself with some of the revamped systems, such as customizing and improving the performance of your car. Pilots will also be able to test their skills thanks to the “Challenge The Grid”, the game’s new risk/reward system. To put it simply, your reward will be adjusted according to your position on the starting grid. By starting last, you will receive a significant bonus of credits and experience if you finish on the podium.
