Warzone: Activision formalizes the arrival of Godzilla and King Kong

After several weeks of rumors of all kinds, it is now certain: Call of Duty: Warzone is preparing to welcome distinguished guests to its small city of Calderaand all, through a special event.

Godzilla and King Kong are coming to Warzone

If the date of next April 27 marks the launch of season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone and of Call of Duty: Vanguard, the month of May is the month that interests us the most. On social networks, Activision has indeed formalized once and for all the arrival of Godzilla and King Kong in the Battle Royaleand all through an event called Operation Monarch.

At the moment, the details concerning the course of this extraordinary event are quite (very) vague, and we do not really know in what form it will appear, but one thing is certain, the two mythical monsters are not here to joke. We can easily imagine that our two creatures will cause some damage in the city of Calderaand thus give rise to several map changes.

Moreover, at the turn of a tweet, we learn that the city welcome a new POI which, it seems, will be interesting for gamers who love action.

When will the Monarch event take place in Warzone?

Despite the little information we have for this event hosting our two mythical monsters of international cinema, we still have their release date!

The Operation Monarch event will therefore take place on May 11 in Call of Duty: Warzone. At the moment, we don’t yet have the time for the launch of these festivities, but we can imagine that it will start around 7 p.m. French time.

Soon, we will of course have more details on Season 3 of Warzone and Vanguard, and with the officialization of this event, the rumors announcing the end of our Battle Royale are more than ever on the agenda.

Since the release of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1, players have had to say goodbye to the city of Verdansk to make way for a brand new location with the city of Caldera. If the success was not really there, the developers understood it well…
