However, initially, this Wi-Fi 6 compatibility is reserved exclusively… for new subscribers. Indeed, customers currently subscribed to the Freebox Pop offer are not eligible for this new feature, but the migration should be possible by the end of the year.

Of course, this Wi-Fi 6 compatibility is carried out without any price change, and the Freebox Pop offer remains offered at 29.99 euros / month for the first year, before increasing to 39.99 euros / month.

Remember that since its launch in 2020, the Freebox Pop has been compatible with Wi-Fi AC 2100 Bi-band, in 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz. The arrival of Wi-Fi 6 responds according to Xavier Niel to market developments, the latter indicating that 70% of mobile sales with Free concern Wi-Fi 6 compatible smartphones.
