Every user’s dream headphones
is it not the personalization of its model?

Without going that far, the Q-Seven Combo, a direct and very slight evolution of the Q-Seven Wireless, is a Bluetooth and ANC headset whose particularity is to be able to switch between two types of pads.

On the ears, or around

Helmet with a very sleek design, totally in the continuity of the Scandinavian school of headphones (it strongly resembles the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Portal), the Q-Seven Combo is a light model (215 g) with neat finishes.

Nevertheless, despite its mid-range character, one should not look for real signs of modernity. We can for example point the finger at the support of Bluetooth codecs, strangely limited to the only SBC. Stranger still, the charging socket is in micro-USB format and not in USB-C. An obsolete type that is difficult to justify.

For the controls, this headset relies on a set of buttons, in order to manage the navigation in the tracks, the volume, or to call
the telephone voice assistant. Finally, a hybrid type active noise reduction system (with two microphones) is integrated. The headset has a battery life of 20 hours with ANC, and up to 30 hours without. In short, everything is very classic here.

But the big advantage of the Jays is its management of the pads. This is because the product comes with both over-ear models (which surround the ear) and over-ear pads (based on the ear cushions).
ears). In addition to slightly modifying the look, this impacts comfort, insulation and even sound. A feature on which Jays relies in particular to underline the style of his new helmet.

The Jays Q-Seven Combo is already available, for 149 euros.
