It was through a press release that Blizzard announced the news: the challenge will soon be permanently accessible.
Back from the patch 9.1.5, the Mage Tower has remained an iconic World of Warcraft challenge since the Legion expansion. Until then, it was possible for players to venture there when Timewalking was active.
From March 29, it will be permanently accessible. Players will therefore be able to take up the challenge at any time. To access it, nothing could be simpler. Just go to the Broken Isles by joining the Broken Shore from Dalaran. The Tower is located at the Halte de la Délivrance. Push the door, and you will have access to this symbolic challenge.
Your specialization will determine your challenge. Seven are available. We have listed the different challenges for you here. Defeating the Mage Tower will grant you access to a transmog set themed Legion, as well as the achievement “Tower of Glory”. Note that Guardian Druids will be entitled to the Corrupted Werebear Druid form, exclusive to this challenge.
Completing all seven challenges will earn you the achievement “The Tour of the Towers”as well as the Grimoire Volant mount.
