WRC 10: The Switch version finally finds a release date

Although we haven’t taken the time to test it, to our regret it seems that WRC 10 met with decent critical acclaim. It must be said that this episode enriches a formula that Kylotonn has been refining for quite a few years already. Still, although available on almost everything on the console market, but also on PC, the title still shuns the Nintendo Switch today. A problem that will soon be solved!

A version identical to the others?

Like many others before him, and surely a lot more to come, WRC 10 marks a certain latency between its release on consoles and PC, and its arrival on Nintendo Switch. The Japanese machine does not have the technical capacities of its congeners, and we are constantly reminded of this with reports of all kinds, including that of Dying Light 2 that we learned recently. Available since last September on all other media, Kylotonn’s title will only land March 17 on Switch. At least the date is finally set, you say. But wait a bit to read what follows!

The trouble is that this version will not arrive complete. Indeed, at launch, it will only contain the career mode, the 120 courses, the 14 rallies, the 23 historical events and the few legendary cars brought by this new opus. Exit therefore all the online content, however very substantial, which will take a still indefinite delay. As for couch multiplayer lovers, know that WRC 10 will not be entitled to its split-screen races in this version Nintendo Switch. An absence which is most certainly explained by technical limitations, which does not fail to be disappointing!
