Yeedi, manufacturer of robot vacuum cleaners, announces an update to its application. Supposed to improve the navigation and cartography of the Vac 2 Pro, it should be well received by users, these two points being the main weaknesses of the robot.

How the pricing table works

We pointed this out in our test of the Yeedi Vac 2 Pro: the robot’s navigation is hazardous and its mapping is not the most precise. The manufacturer announces an update, two more precisely, of the application to overcome these weaknesses. The first, which should be available in early June, aims to improve navigation and better delineate rooms. It incorporates the possibility of merging or splitting parts. The user can then split a large area into two smaller ones or combine two areas to create one.

The second update introduces a new option: multi-stage. Thanks to it, users will now be able to save multiple maps, allowing the Yeedi Vac 2 Pro to orient itself in different environments. The navigation of the robot will then gain in efficiency. If we do not know the number of cards that can be saved, the option is still very valuable for users with two floors. This update will be available a little later, in August.
