The ZenFone 8 has already received Android 12. Now it’s the ZenFone 8 Flip mobile phone’s turn and it’s being equipped with the latest operating system. You get many new features. With the Privacy Dashboard, for example, your privacy should be better protected.
As the technology blog Gizmochina reports, Asus has revised the Mobile Manager, Contacts, Phone, File Manager, Calculator and Clock, Gallery and Sound Recorder apps.
In addition, the quick settings, the notification bar and the volume control have been adapted to the design of Android 12. With the privacy dashboard you can see which apps have accessed the camera, microphone and location over a certain period of time. There you can also grant or revoke permissions for applications.
In the launcher, the widgets page has a new look. But there are not only innovations, because there are still a few errors. Not all third-party apps are compatible with Android 12 yet.
The update could also appear in this country in the coming days or weeks, since the ZenFone 8 has also received an update. Unfortunately, Asus does not provide any further information on this.
