From Friday February 4 to Sunday February 20, the best athletes in the world will be in the Chinese capital to compete for 327 medals spread over 109 events. The objective of the French? Win 15 medals like in Sochi in 2014 and Pyeongchang in 2018! Saturday February 5, 2022, France has already won his first medal thanks to Anaïs Chevalier-Bouchet, Julia Simon, Emilien Jacquelin and Quentin Fillon-Mailletwho represented France in the mixed biathlon relay event and finished second in the race.

Monday, February 7, 2022, twenty-four medals will be at stake. However, the tricolor delegation will only be able to obtain them in three disciplines, for this day, biathlon, short track and alpine skiing. Tessa Worley, who was the flag bearer at the opening ceremony, will take to the track in the women’s giant slalom. In order to win a medal, she will have to perform in the two successive rounds! Two other French women will participate in this event, Coralie Frasse-Sombet and Clara Direz.
