Bluetti has the solution to reduce your electricity bills with its new station

The French pay on average 1,200 euros per year for electricity. After housing and food, it is one of the largest expenditure items. Opting for an electrical station like the Bluetti EP760 ultimately saves money. Here’s how.

Energy prices are currently under pressure. With a regulated tariff which increased by 15% last February, then by 10% in August, all solutions to reduce your energy bill are welcome. What if you installed an electrical storage station?

This response provided by the energy specialist Bluetti with its new EP760 station presents multiple advantages. Easy to set up, this device makes it possible to concentrate electricity consumption on off-peak hours and even to do without the traditional network by combining it with solar panels.

Why install an electrical station while being connected to the traditional network?

Electric storage stations such as the powerful EP760 from Bluetti and its 7600 W offer many advantages. First of all, this material brings power where you don’t have any. Placed at the bottom of the garden, it transforms your small tool shed into a functional workshop.

But it is especially when the EP760 is installed in a house or apartment that it becomes really useful. Connected to your home’s electrical network, this station is a great help in the event of a power outage. With such a device, there is no risk of losing the entire contents of your freezer, finding yourself in the dark or having to throw away that half-cooked dish that you dreamed of eating. It’s also very practical when you have work to do.

Concretely, in the event of a power outage, the Bluetti EP760 automatically takes over and switches on in less than 10 milliseconds. It is therefore impossible to perceive the slightest cut. And thanks to its capacity of 7600 Wh, this station can power an entire house of 120 m² for almost 4 hours and an apartment of 60 m² running entirely on electricity for nine hours.

Take advantage of off-peak hours to save

To go even further, you can use it on a daily basis alternating with the traditional electricity network. The objective: to lower your energy bill.

Provided you have opted for an HP/HC contract (peak and off-peak hours) with your electricity supplier, thanks to the EP760, you can concentrate your consumption exclusively on off-peak hours. From the Bluetti app (iOS and Android), it is possible to tell the station to charge only during off-peak hours, where electricity is cheapest. Then, the station can power your devices during peak hours, instead of the electricity network. Consumption from your electricity supplier then becomes almost zero when it is most expensive. The procedure is very simple to implement.

Even more savings thanks to solar panels

Homeowners can get even more out of their EP760 station by connecting it to solar panels. As the station is compatible with most models on the market, there is no need to reinvest in such a device if you are already equipped.

Ideally, in this configuration where the objective is to gain energy independence, it is interesting to combine the EP760 with its B500 extension batteries. The station can support up to four add-ons, each with a capacity of 4,960 Wh. In total, the whole can then reach 27,440 Wh, which is equivalent to 13 hours of power for a 120 m² house, the rest being provided by solar charging. Your home can thus become autonomous when solar energy production is sufficient.

A less restrictive installation

Bluetti has also planned everything so that its devices are not restrictive on a daily basis. With less than 50 dB during use, the EP760 is quiet and should not disturb your sleep. In addition, this modular system is relatively discreet and compact since it measures only 63 cm in width and 37 cm in height, the size of a small suitcase. Enough to easily blend into your interior.

The assembly can also be placed outside, knowing that the station like the additional modules are waterproof and IP65 certified.

Finally, the Bluetti EP760 is very easy to install and does not require drilling into walls or even rewiring your house. An additional advantage when it comes to reviewing its entire electrical operation.

The EP760 station will be available from September 15 at 5,999 euros, a price which includes two B500 batteries.
