A motorcycle trip for a 25-year-old from Klagenfurt ended fatally. The biker hit the stone edge in Maria Saal and collided with a street lamp.
A 25-year-old from Klagenfurt was on his motorcycle on Ottmanacher Landesstraße in the direction of Maria Saal at around 4:20 p.m. About 100 meters before the Maria Saal sign, he crashed his motorcycle against the edge of the sidewalk to the right of the main road for unknown reasons and fell.
The driver hit a street lamp and was fatally injured. The emergency doctor, the rescue team and the crew of the C 11 rescue helicopter carried out resuscitation measures on site, but these were unsuccessful. The motorcycle was damaged. The Maria Saal fire department was also in action.
