Shock for Claudia Knie (54) and business partner Carolina Caroli (49): Some of the colored heart sculptures that the women are exhibiting as part of their “Heart Beats” tour benefit project in Bern on Bundesplatz and currently on Waisenhausplatz fell to unknown vandals over the weekend to the victim. These have overturned, rearranged or lifted some of the hearts. The women now appeal to the perpetrators: «Please don’t break our hearts! You are there to do good. “
Proceeds will benefit corona victims
The proceeds from the more than 60 heart sculptures painted by artists and children will benefit young people who were victims of domestic violence during the Corona period or who lost their training position. “If you break hearts, you break the aid for them,” explains Claudia Knie.
After Bern, the “Heart Beats” tour will be a guest at Zurich’s main station from October 17 to 27 and at the Fischmarktplatz in Rapperswil SG from November 8 to 14. All information about the project and donation options can be found at www.heartbeats-tour.com.
